These terms govern the advisory and consulting services offered under the brand Phillips Indonesia Advisory, which is a trading brand of Aqueous International Ltd., a company registered in Hong Kong ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a call, purchasing a session, or entering a retainer, you ("the client") agree to these terms.
We provide independent advisory and consulting services relating to property, business, licensing, relocation and market entry in Indonesia. We are advisers and connectors. We are not a law firm, a licensed real-estate agency, a tax advisory firm, or a financial adviser. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, or regulated financial advice.
Where formal legal, notarial, tax, or licensing work is required, we introduce or recommend qualified, licensed professionals. Any engagement you enter with those professionals is separate from your engagement with us. We are not a party to it.
Our guidance is based on our experience and judgement. Indonesian laws, regulations, administrative practice change and are subject to interpretation by authorities. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, approval, investment return, or that any transaction will complete. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for conducting your own final due diligence before committing funds.
We work for the client. We do not accept commissions from property sellers, developers, or agents in exchange for recommending them. Where we introduce a third-party professional (such as a notaris or lawyer), we do so on the basis of trust and track record, not commission.
Under the Project Oversight & Placement service, we may source and vet on-site personnel for your project. Any such person is engaged and paid directly by you and works under your direction, not ours. We act only in an advisory and supervisory capacity above that arrangement and are not the employer of, nor liable for the acts or omissions of, any personnel you engage.
Fees are as stated at the point of purchase. The Clarity Session is a one-off fee. Retainers are billed monthly in advance and continue until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your statement under a descriptor referencing Aqueous International Ltd.
Retainers may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month; we do not pro-rate part-months. The free introductory call carries no charge. Paid sessions cancelled by you with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled; sessions missed without notice are not refundable. If we are unable to deliver a paid session, we will reschedule it or refund it in full.
We treat the information you share in the course of our engagement as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as needed to deliver the service you have requested, or as required by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with our services is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your reliance on third parties, from decisions you make, or from changes in law or administrative practice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
